The New Testament Book of Philippians is a letter from the Missionary, Paul. He's writing to the Church in Philippi (ancient Greece). And throughout the letter, he walks through both the ordinary and extraordinary circumstances of life in Christ. Throughout the letter, Paul encourages the Philippian believers to attach their joy, identity, citizenship, and purpose to their relationship with Christ, more than life circumstances. Consequently, there’s an emphasis on suffering well, growing in holiness, and sharing the Good News of Jesus.
